Amdega Conservatories and Speedheat
A meeting at an exhibition led to a landmark celebration when Speedheat UK marked its 1,000th installation in an Amdega conservatory.
Ian and Deanna Murray are thrilled with the new conservatory that they can use all year round at their home in South West Cheshire.
Amdega knows it can recommend Speedheat with confidence and peace of mind. And Speedheat was delighted to present Mr and Mrs Murray with a magnum of champagne for being the 1,000th client to benefit from the Amdega-Speedheat partnership.

It began when Speedheat’s Ian Pentland met Amdega’s sales director Gary Sutton at the trade show. Since then, Amdega designers have recommended Speedheat to clients and vice-versa.
It has worked well for both companies. Amdega is the UK market leader in bespoke conservatories, with clients all over the country. The company has been in business since the 1860s and, like Speedheat, trades on its reputation.
David Lukeman, Amdega’s regional sales manager, joined in the celebrations at Mr and Mrs Murray’s home.
“We are very pleased with the service that Speedheat provides as it is part of our overall service that we know we can rely on,” he said. “I know they will drive from Land’s End to John O’Groats if necessary to ensure everything is right. I have no hesitation in recommending it to clients.”
David is so confident in the under floor heating he even has it in his own conservatory.
Mr and Mrs Murray had planned the conservatory with summer in mind. They had not considered heating until Amdega recommended Speedheat. Thanks to the system now underneath the limestone floor, it is now the most used room in the house all year round.
“We have sat in there in stockinged feet, beautifully warm watching the night sky while there is howling wind and rain outside,” said Ian. And with a 15 per cent year-on-year increase in the conservatory market, Speedheat and Amdega look set for partnership success well into the future.
