The system was chosen by new owners wanting to put their stamp on their stunning and unusually shaped modern home. The redesign included doing away with the original gas fired heating because radiators spoiled the clean, architectural lines of the rooms.
A range of floor finishes had been chosen, including solid oak, ceramic and carpet – so with 16 rooms of varying shapes and sizes and three bathrooms, the heating had to be flexible, controllable and efficient.
All Speedheat installations are designed specifically for each project, so expert engineers were able to create a bespoke system that met all the issues – even fitting curved rooms
Speed and simplicity of installation also meant no major upheaval to the floor or sub-flor, leaving the family warm and safe in the knowledge that tests have proved Speedheat will not damage or discolour even the most sensitive flooring.
